Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is a simple, long-term way to reduce unwanted hair. By targeting the root, each session leads to smoother, softer skin and a noticeably cleaner finish. Over time, it becomes less about maintenance and more about enjoying the freedom that comes with feeling good in your own skin.

Why We Use Venus Epileve Technology

Why We Use Venus Epileve Technology

At Studio Gldn, we chose the Venus Epileve laser because it delivers fast, comfortable, and true long-term hair reduction without compromising your skin’s health. This technology uses a gentle yet powerful diode laser that targets the hair at the root while keeping the surrounding skin protected and cool. The result? Smooth, clean skin with less discomfort and quicker appointments—so you’re in, out, and glowing.

What sets Venus Epileve apart is how it adapts to different skin tones and hair types, making treatments more inclusive and consistent. Each session builds on the last, helping reduce regrowth and giving you that effortless, low-maintenance confidence you’ve been wanting.

It’s medical-grade, efficient, and designed to create lasting results—exactly why it’s the standard we trust for our clients.

Why We Chose Venus Epileve Over Other Laser Technologies

Not all lasers are created equal. The Venus Epileve stands out because it blends science, safety, and client comfort in a way many traditional systems don’t. Here’s how it compares:

Diode (Venus Epileve) vs. IPL

IPL isn’t actually a laser—it’s broad-spectrum light.

  • Less precise: It scatters energy, so it’s not as targeted and often requires more sessions.
  • Higher sensitivity risk: Can heat the surrounding skin, especially on deeper skin tones.
  • Less long-term reduction: Results are more temporary compared to laser.

IPL isn’t actually a laser—it’s broad-spectrum light.

  • Higher sensitivity risk: Can heat the surrounding skin, especially on deeper skin tones.

Less long-term reduction: Results are more temporary compared to laser.

Venus Epileve’s diode laser is focused and precise, delivering energy directly into the follicle.

  • More effective, longer lasting, and the wavelength is scientifically backed for permanent hair reduction.

Much safer for all skin types, because the laser targets pigment in the follicle—not the entire skin surface.

Alexandrite lasers (755 nm) are fast and effective—but only for lighter skin tones.

  • They carry higher burn risk on medium to darker skin because of how strongly that wavelength absorbs in the epidermis.

Venus Epileve uses ~800 nm, which

  • penetrates deeper,
  • absorbs less in the top layer of skin,
  • and remains safe across Fitzpatrick I–VI.

This makes it a more inclusive choice for modern studios.

Nd:YAG (1064 nm) is great for darker skin types but:

  • It absorbs less in melanin, so treatments can be less effective on finer hair and often more uncomfortable due to deeper penetration.
  • It’s powerful but can feel intense and is not always the best “everyday client” option.

The 800 nm diode balances both worlds:

  • Enough melanin absorption for strong, lasting results
  • Enough penetration for safety
  • And significantly less discomfort

It’s the “sweet spot” between efficacy and comfort.

What to Expect

Before Your Appointment
Your specialist will review your skin and hair type, answer questions, and customize a treatment plan. You’ll be asked to arrive with skin freshly shaved (no waxing, tanning, or self-tanner beforehand).

During the Treatment
A cooling gel or device will be applied for comfort. The laser emits quick pulses of light that target each hair follicle. You may feel a slight snap—similar to a warm rubber band—but most people find it very tolerable and fast.

After Your Session
The treated area may look slightly pink for a few hours, similar to a mild sunburn. You’ll be advised to avoid heat, sun exposure, and heavy workouts for 24–48 hours. Over the next 2–3 weeks, treated hairs will gradually shed, revealing smoother skin.

Long-Term Results
Each visit reduces hair growth more and more. Most clients see noticeable results after just a few sessions, with significant, long-lasting reduction by the end of their treatment plan.
