Healing Journey
Why Postpartum Recovery Matters
Pregnancy places significant stress on the body. Many women continue experiencing physical symptoms long after childbirth, including:
- Weak core muscles
- Diastasis recti (abdominal separation)
- Bladder leaks when coughing, laughing, or exercising
- Pelvic floor weakness
- Lower back pain
- Poor posture and instability
- Persistent bloating and fluid retention
- Difficulty returning to exercise
Unfortunately, many women are simply told to wait for recovery to happen naturally.
In reality, the muscles most affected by pregnancy often require targeted rehabilitation to fully restore strength and function.
Benefits may include
Your 21-Day Recovery Timeline
- rebuilding deep core strength
- supporting recovery from diastasis recti
- improving posture and spinal stability
- restoring abdominal muscle engagement
- reducing lower back strain
Week 1
Muscle Activation
The first phase focuses on reactivating the core and pelvic floor muscles that have dramatically weakened during pregnancy.
Many clients begin noticing improved muscle awareness and engagement during this phase.
Week 2
Strength Building
As muscles begin responding, the focus shifts to building strength and stability.
Clients often experience improved core support and better pelvic floor control.
Week 3
Functional Recovery
The final phase focuses on restoring full muscle function and confidence in movement.
By the end of the program many clients feel significantly stronger and closer to fully recovered from the physical changes of pregnancy.

By restoring these systems together, the body can regain strength and stability more efficiently. During pregnancy, the abdominal muscles stretch and weaken, often leaving the core unable to properly stabilize the body. Our core strengthening technology activates the deep abdominal muscles to rebuild strength safely and effectively.
The GLDN Mother™ 21-Day Recovery System is designed to restore the three key systems affected by pregnancy:
Core muscles
Circulation and lymphatic flow
Pelvic floor muscles

Pelvic Floor Restoration
Pregnancy and childbirth place significant strain on the pelvic floor muscles that support the bladder, uterus, and core stability.
Pelvic floor therapy stimulates these muscles to help restore strength and coordination.
Benefits may include:
- Strengthening pelvic floor muscles
- Improving bladder control
- Supporting pelvic stability
- Restoring muscle coordination
- Improving confidence during physical activity
Lymphatic Recovery
Hormonal changes during pregnancy can lead to fluid retention, swelling, and bloating.
A targeted lymphatic drainage massage helps stimulate the lymphatic system and support the body’s natural recovery.
Benefits may include:
- Reducing bloating and water retention
- Improving circulation
- Supporting detoxification
- Promoting relaxation and recovery
- Helping the body feel lighter and less inflamed

Everything you need to know before booking
What is Diastasis Recti?
Diastasis Recti is a separation of the abdominal muscles caused by stretching of the connective tissue (linea alba) during pregnancy. This creates a gap down the midline of the abdomen, often resulting in a “bulging” or “domed” appearance known as the postpartum pooch.
Will this help with diastasis recti or core separation?
Yes, Deep Core EMS and pelvic floor strengthening can support the reactivation of deep abdominal muscles, which may help improve the appearance and function of abdominal separation.
How does a C-section affect your core and pelvic floor after pregnancy?
A C-section involves multiple layers of the abdominal wall being surgically opened, which can disrupt the function of key deep core muscles like the transverse abdominis and pelvic floor. After surgery, many women experience reduced core activation, weakness, changes in sensation around the incision, and difficulty maintaining core stability. These changes can also contribute to issues like abdominal separation (diastasis recti), posture problems, and increased strain on the lower back.
How common is core weakness or diastasis recti after pregnancy?
Core changes are very common after pregnancy. Up to 60–70% of women develop diastasis recti during pregnancy, and around 40% still have it at six months postpartum. Many women don’t realize it, as symptoms can be subtle but still impact strength and stability.
When should I start postpartum recovery treatments?
Most women can begin once they’ve been cleared by their healthcare provider, typically around 6 weeks postpartum. However, timelines may vary depending on your recovery and delivery type.
Are postpartum recovery treatments painful?
No, the postpartum recovery treatments are non-invasive and generally comfortable. You may feel muscle contractions during EMS sessions, but they are controlled and well-tolerated.
