Meet Stephanie
From independent artist to studio founder.
What started as me, a spray tan gun, and a passion for creating better results has grown into Studio GLDN, an award-winning, multi-service beauty and wellness studio.
With over six years of hands-on experience in the sunless industry, I’ve built my career around mastering the art of the custom spray tan while continuing to evolve through industry education, advanced training, and hands-on experience.
Over the years, I’ve worked with clients for everything from everyday confidence to bridal, special events, photoshoots, industry collaborations, and high-profile clientele. That experience has taught me that a great spray tan goes far beyond applying solution. It’s understanding skin, colour theory, technique, client consultation, and how to create a result that is completely customized to the person in front of you.
As Studio GLDN grew from an independent business into a full studio, my role evolved too. I began training, mentoring, and managing spray tan artists, developing the standards and techniques that have become part of the Studio GLDN experience.
Today, I bring that same real-world experience into my education. My goal is to teach artists not only how to spray tan, but how to think like a professional, refine their artistry, build client trust, and create a business and reputation that can grow with them.

Do I need previous experience?
No. Our beginner training is designed for students with zero previous spray tanning experience. We’ll take you through everything from foundational theory to hands-on application and building confidence as an artist.
What is included in my training?
Training covers spray tan theory, DHA and solution knowledge, colour theory, client consultations, skin preparation, application technique, equipment, troubleshooting, aftercare, sanitation, client experience, pricing, retention, and business fundamentals. Hands-on training also gives you the opportunity to practice your technique with guidance.
Will I receive a certification?
Yes. Upon successfully completing your training, you’ll receive a Studio GLDN Spray Tan Certification.
Is equipment included?
Yes. Our Beginner Spray Tan Training includes a complete starter kit designed to get you set up and ready to start tanning clients. Your starter kit includes:
- Large pop-up spray tan tent
- Professional spray tan machine + airbrush gun
- Solution for approximately 15 to 20 clients
- Blending brushes
- Drying powder
- Studio GLDN Training Manual
Everything you need to practice, build confidence, and begin taking clients after completing your training.
Do I need to bring a model?
You’re welcome to bring your own model for the hands-on portion of training, but it’s not required. If you’re unable to provide one, Studio GLDN can arrange models for you so you still get the full hands-on experience.
How many students are in each class?
The majority of our training is done 1:1, giving you a highly personalized learning experience with dedicated hands-on guidance and individual feedback. When training is offered in a group setting, class sizes are intentionally kept small to ensure every student receives the attention and support they need.
Where is training held?
In-person training is held at Studio GLDN in Vaughan, Ontario. Specific location details and arrival instructions are provided after booking.
Do you offer payment plans?
Payment options may be available depending on the training program. Any available payment plan will be outlined before registration so you know exactly what is required to secure your training date.
Can I take advanced training if I was certified somewhere else?
Yes. Our advanced training and mentorship options are designed for existing spray tan artists who want to refine their technique, strengthen their consultations, troubleshoot results, improve their client experience, or grow their business. You do not need to have originally trained with Studio GLDN.
What support is available after training?
Your education doesn’t end when your training day does. Students receive post-training support for questions, troubleshooting, technique guidance, and navigating the early stages of working with clients. This helps you continue building confidence once you begin working independently.
